Kitchens
in both Activity Centre & Phoenix Hut have been re-equipped with new
facilities and completely redecorated (2004). All stainless steel surfaces ensure we
are up to-date with the latest food regulations. All bunks have been replaced
with good quality mattresses (2005).

This
is a purpose built indoor accommodation for 31 people - suitable for pack
holidays. It supports a fully equipped kitchen and dining room with tables and
chairs. Bedrooms are equipped with bunk beds (4x6 persons, 1x4 Persons &
1x3 persons). In the kitchen there is a gas cooker, fridge, toaster and
electric kettle. Hot showers are available for those who need this type of home
comfort! A focal point is the stone fireplace, with wood burning stove, for an
evening get together, supper or camp sing-along if the weather outside is too
wet.

Phoenix Centre
Available to small groups of scouts or explorer scouts for weekend use
OR alternative accommodation for cubs when camping under canvas (adjacent to the camping area) and if the weather is wet gives ample opportunity for indoor activities to keep them busy and occupied. Kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, utensils and fridge/freezer. Large dining area with tables and chairs to seat 50 people and a small separate bunkroom for leaders.
